difference between love and like?

let me give you an example
one day lord Buddha went in a forest. there he saw. a flower and he liked he. he was going to picked it up but he didn't why because he also loved it. and when you love something you should not harm it
so liking one will be sometimes harmful but love will be always with you in every hard condition because love is from the deeeeepest point of the heart and not from the mind
but like is controlled by the mind so love makes it assurance not like.
