Difference between luminous and non luminous objects.

Luminous objects are objects that give out light on its own .
Non luminous objects are objects that do not give out light on it's own.

 A luminous body is one that emits its own light ex: sun. Non luminous bodies are objects that reflect light from luminous bodies. ex:moon.
