Yes !Maize plant has fibrous roots!Since it belongs to monocot. Along with the normal fibrous roots , Maize plant produces another kind of roots called stilt roots. Function of this stilt root is to provide mechanical support

In pea plant, tap root system is found (primary root + lateral root) while,maize and wheat is monocot plant, so they have fibrous root system....
