Germ cell is a biological cell that gives rise to gametes of any organism. Female germ cells have XX chromosome whereas male germ cell consists of XY chromosomes. Moreover, Female germ cells differentiate under a two phase time but in males differentiation occurs in seminiferous tubules of the testes throughout the normal life cycle.
