Actually the principle of manual database is the same as electronicdatabase – it's a file system that consists of many records. The maindifference is that it is notcomputerized, so all the records anddatabase itself are tangible. Practicallymanual databases are file boxes full or paper records and folders.

Database is a collection of data which is stored in tabular manner so, that it can retrieve and manipulate data easily.
A manual database is a database which is based on paper that is data is written on paper. For example phone book.
A computerised database means data that we stored in computer in an organised and structured form and it is more useful in terms of speed and ease. It can be done by oracle (Database Application).
