The quantity of matter in an object makes its mass. Its values remains the same to whichever place on earth or even to a different heavenly body.Mass of a body is directly proportional to inertia.Unit of mass is kg. On the other hand, weight of a body is the measure of force experienced by it due to force of gravity. It varies according to change of gravity...either on earth or on any other heavenly body.Unit of weight is Newton (N).
