mass:it is property of matter. The mass of an object is the same every where. It can never be zero.It does not change according to the location
weight: it depends on the effect of gravity.weight varies according location. It can be zero. Weight increases or decrease with higher or lower gravity

The difference between mass and weight :
Mass is the amount matter contained in the body. Wheras weight is exerted on a body due to gravitational pull of another body such as the earth, the sun etc.
The SI unit of mass is kilogram kg.
Since weight is a force ,its SI unit is Newton (N).
