1.) Physical medium is required for the propgation of these waves.
2.) Speed of mechanical wave is very low .
3.) Speed of mechanical wave is more in denser medium and less in rare medium.
• ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE =
1.) No medium is required for propogation .
2.) Speed of electromagnetic wave is very high.
3.) These waves are always transverse.
