metals r good conductor of electricity and heat ,metals r ductile which means they can be stretched into wires

nonmetals r poor conductors and non metals don't have metallic lusters

Metals :

• They have lustre ( sheen).

• They are malleable and ductile.

• They have high density and high melting and boiling points.

• Except mercury and gallium, all other metals are solid at room temperature.

• They are sonorous.

• They are good conductors of heat and electricity.

Non - Metals :

•They have non-lustre (dull).

•They are neither malleable nor ductile.

•They have low density and low melting and boiling points.

•Non- Metals may exist in solid, liquid or gaseous states at room Temperature.

•They are not sonorous.

• They are poor conductors of heat and electricity.
