Metals are lustrous , malleable , ductile and are a good conductor of heat and electricity. Whereas, Non-metals are opposite to that of metals . They are neither malleable nor ductile. They are bad conductor of heat and electricity . Metals can form positive ions by losing electrons to non metals whereas, Non- metals fprm negatively charged ions by gaining electrons while reacting with metals .
