Milk teeth are temporary so they break down with passing time and the teeth that grows after milk teeth are called permanent teeth. If once permanent teeth break down then it will not grow again.

Milk teeth:

The first set of teeth which grows during infancy and they all fall off at the age between six to eight years are termed as milk teeth.

Permanent teeth:

The second set that replaces the milk teeth are permanent teeth. They may last throughout life or fall off during old age or due to some mental disease.
