Mitochodria are power house of cell i.e. the provide energy to cells.

Choloplasts are pigment organelles are give colour to plant cells

mitochondria are found both in animal and plant cell

chloroplast are found only in plant cell

ananyalucknow: Yes u are correct... but one thing u can add in chloroplast is that they contain chlorophyll which gives ‘green’ colour to plants.
ananyalucknow: this is because plants also contain chromoplast containing xanthophyll and carotene which give it yellow and orange-red colour respectively.
Udeesha: yeah u r absolutely correct
ananyalucknow: Thanks

Both the chloroplastand the mitochondrion are organelles found in the cells of plants, but only mitochondriaare found in animal cells. The function ofchloroplasts andmitochondria is to generate energy for the cells in which they live. The structure of both organelle types includes an inner and an outer membrane
