Mitosis-
1.mitosis occurs in somatic cells.
2.occurs in both sexually as well as asexually reproducing organisms.
3.mitosis produces diploid cells.
4.mitosis produces two identical daughter cells.
Meiosis-
1.meiosis occurs in germ cells.
2.occurs only in sexually reproducing organisms.
3.meiosis produces haploid cells.
4.meiosis produces four genetically different daughter cells.

mitosis-chromosome no will not halfed but in meiosis- chromosome no become half
