hey mate!

Mixed cropping implies a cropping technique in which different types of crops are cultivated together. On the contrary, when two or more crops are cultivated simultaneously on the same piece of land, in a definite pattern, it is called as intercropping.

in mixed cropping 2 or more crops are planted without any pattern at the same time in same fields

whereas in intercropping crops are planted in a fixed pattern. that is 2 rows of one crop and then 2 rows of other.

this provides protection against high damage.
