mixed cropping is the process of growing another crop along with some crop.
crop rotation is the process of growing one crop after another on the same field

mixed cropping is when different types of crops are grown in the same land in any way you know in any random order
intercropping means that different crops are grown in the same land but in a fixed pattern you know with equal intervals and all
and crop rotation means that a single type of crop is sown in the field and is harvested and after that another crop is sown like this two or three crops are grown on the field so that the nutrients used up by the crops will be replenished
