The only difference between a molecule of a compound and a molecule of an element is that in a molecule of an element, all the atoms are the same. For example, in a molecule of water (a compound), there is one oxygen atom and two hydrogen atoms. But in a molecule of oxygen (an element), both of the atoms are oxygen

When this kind of doubt comes to you I hope that you already know the definitions of compound and an element.

So, molecule of a compound has one or more types of atoms whereas in molecule of an element it has only one.

Eg- C6H6 (Benzene) in this compound the molecules are carbon (6atoms) and hydrogen(6 atoms)

But in O2,H2 etc.. where the molecule of the element is comprised of one element: oxygen or hydrogen (keeping the number of atoms aside).
