monera is a living kingdom only comprising of bacterias. Protista is living kingdom comprising of protozoas.

Monera are the oldest simplest and most numerous micro organism
these are prokaryote . they don't have a defined nucleus or organelles
they r usually non motile but some have flagella and gliding movements ex bacteria cyanobacteria

they r first eukaryotes having a well organised nucleus and complex membranous organelles

they have hair like cilia or whip like flagella for moving around they r motile
ex algae diatom amoeba
