Monocotyledon:
(1) have only one cotyledon
(2) Parallel venetion
(3) leaves have a tap root
Dicotyledon:
(1) have more one cotyledon
(2) Reticulate venation
(3) leaves have fibrous root

DIFFERENT BETWEEN MONOCOTYLEDON AND DYCOTYLEDON
1》Monocotyledon have a fibrous root whereas Dicotyledon have tap root systems
2》Monocotyledon have leave with parallel venison whereas Dicotyledon have Reticulant type root.
3》In Monocotyledon , vascular bundle are closed whereas in Dicotyledon, they are open.
4》Example of Monocotyledon are :- grass, wheat, Maize etc.
Example of Dicotyledon are:-Mango, apple, potato etc.
5》In Monocotyledon Flowers are trimerous and In Dicotyledon flowers are pentamerous.
