Polymer means many monomers. Sometimes polymers are also known as macromolecules or large-sized molecules. Usually, polymers are organic (but not necessarily). Amonomer is a molecule that is able to bond in long chains.

Monomers have single monomeric units and polymer is a substance of high molecular mass formed by the combination of a large no. of monomers by chemical bonds..i.e more than one unit
