- when an object do not change its position with time it is known as rest.
- These objects doesn't change its position with time.
- Example: sitting, tree, bottle kept on a table, etc.
Motion :
- The movement of any object is called as motion.
- The object changes its position with time.
- Example : running, moving car, throwing ball, etc.
