Motor neuron is the neuron which carries nerve impulse from CNS to effector muscle.
Relay neuron serves as a link between sensory and motor neuron at CNS.

IN A REFLEX ARC
Motor Neuron:
- these neurons carry messages from the spinal chord to the effectors
- they send signals to produce a respond from the area where the organ or body part is effected
- eg:we take off our hand quickly after touching something very hot.this is the respond given by our hand
Relay Neuron :
- these neurons are also known as associate or inter neurons
- they are present inside the spinal chord
- they intermediate between sensory and motor neuron and act as medium through which signals are transmitted
