They are easy to use, not very expensive and and moves cursor faster than the arrow keys on the keyboard.

A lightpen is a pointing device which is similar to a mouse. It is used to select the displayed menu menu item or draw pictures on the monitor screen. It consists of a photocell and a optical system placed in a small tube.
