Movement group is an organisation which starts a movement to achieve a specific goal or issue.

Whereas An Interest Group is an organization of people who share a common interest and work together to protect and promote that interest by influencing the government.

Interest groups vary greatly in size, aims, and tactics.

groups and social movements have many similarities. However, the differences are: Pressure groups are formed by people with common interest and opinions to achieve a common objective. Movements group is more of a group that is formed by spontaneous mass participation than an interest group.
