Nascent hydrogen is a hydrogen atom released during a reaction, and it reacts with something else very, very rapidly. Now, there isn't any physical difference, both are atoms, but based on the surrounding conditions, if the atom is stable, it's called atomic.

Explanation:

By now you will know what atomic Hydrogen is, it is of course a single lone hydrogen atom, with it’s one proton and one electron…electrically neutral but still reactive..Now…Nascent (meaning newly emerged) Hydrogen is, as you might guess, freshly generated Hydrogen (mono atomic) from say a dissolving metal in acid reaction…so yes they are effectively the very same thing indeed, because that is how the Hydrogen is evolved from that kind of reaction, and it is also of course why it is more reactive than di-atomic,molecular Hydrogen, because as you know when two hydrogen atoms get together they are quite happy to share an electron and settle down together !
