There isn't, apparently, any difference between Pear and Babugosha. The genus Pyrus includes a lot of species. The most obvious differences are between the Asian pear Pyrus pyrifolia and the common European pear Pyrus communis.

Babugosha is just a species of pear. They all look and taste different.
