Natural Vibration :-

  1. There is no loss of energy in natural Vibration.
  2. The frequency of vibration depends on the size and shape of body and in Natural Vibration it remains constant.
  3. The amplitude of natural vibration always is constant.
  4. No external force acts of the vibrating body.
  5. The vibration is under the restoring force.

Damped vibration :-

  1. There is little loss of energy in form of heart.
  2. The frequency of vibration is less campair to natural frequency.
  3. The amplitude of damped vibration gradually decreases with time and ultimately the vibrations cases.
  4. A additional restoring force ,a frictional or damping force acts on the body to oppose its motion..
