There are two types of nephrons: Superficial cortical nephrons, which have their glomeruli in the outer cortex. They have shorter loops of Henle, which dip only into the outer medulla. ... Juxtamedullary nephrons, which have their glomeruli near the corticomedullary border.

Here is your answer,

=========================================================

The nephroid is a plane curve whose name means 'kidney-shaped'.

The nephron  is the microscopic structural and functional unit of the kidney.

It is composed of a renal corpuscle and a renal tubule.

The renal corpuscle consists of a tuft of capillaries called a glomerulus and an encompassing Bowman's capsule.
