Neurons are the cells of the body commonly known as nerve cells which are responsible for transmitting impulses through the body to the brain, spinal cord and body muscles and organs. The impulses are information that enable people to carry out various activities like seeing, learning and walking.
Nephrons, on the other hand, are a group of cells in the kidney forming the basic unit of the kidneys. The nephrons play a role in formation of urine, where water and electrolytes are reabsorbed or secreted.
