Non Co- operation movement was launched on August 1 , 1920 by Mahatma Gandhi with the aim of self - governance and obtaining full independence as the Indian National Congress withdrew its support for the British reforms following the Rowlatt Act, Jallianwala Bagh Massacre etc.,

Civil Disobedience Movement:

Civil Disobedience Movement was launched on April 6 , 1930 by Mahatma Gandhi by picking handful of salt after the completion of historic Dandi March from Sabarmati river to Dandi thus breaking the salt law was imposed by the government.

This movement was injected with the ideology of disobeying laws,demands and commands of the government.
