there is no sure fire way to win.
Play to your best abilities at your elo.
Adopt new strategies as you get better, and as you learn them.
I see so many people when I play try to copy "pro" strats from high elo, that just don't work at the elo i'm currently at (1300). Then they complain that it didn't work. (for example, team captain today banned malz because "He is high elo ban bro! noob" when at our elo, things with tons of CC make the team difference. Say, an ali or an amumu. You know what happened? the other team got ali AND amumu. then we lost. hard. Leona as the only tank can't compete vs that.
That aside, learn how to ward. If you're the only one on your team warding, imo, don't ward everything. buy say.. A ward every trip back to the fountain. that'll help a ton. But don't buy 3-5 every trip because you're team isn't. That'll just hurt yourself, unless you're a janna or something.

Pro: People who are experienced.
