north east monsoon wind are the monsoon that comes from south and this season starts from june and the month of september whereas retreating monsoon wind starts from the mid of sepetember month and ends in the november month.

i meant the NORTH EAST monsoon not the south west... the reason im confused is both occur in oct-nov period. but thanks anyway... :)
