brings rain to Tamil nadu and it also blows from north east to south . this rain is beneficial to rabi crops and has no distinct branches.
Retreating monsoon:
brings rain to most of India and it also blows from south east to north . Kharif crops depends on them and have two distinct branches.They are : Arabian sea Branch & Bay of Bengal Branch.
