Hello Friend !
_____________________________________________________________
Both north and south pole have cold climatic conditions due to their situation way far from the equator

North Pole :
It the Northernmost Point of the world which is covered with ice and glaciers .
It lies opposite to the south pole . It is also known are geographical north and true north Because from south the all direction shows to north and vice versa from north .all lines of longitude converge there, so its longitude can be defined as any degree value. Along tight latitude circles, counterclockwise is east and clockwise is west. The North Pole is at the center of the Northern Hemisphere. The sea depth at the North Pole has been measured at 4,261 m by the Russian Mir submersible in 2007 and at 4,087 m by USS Nautilus in 1958.

South Pole :
It is from one of the two points of axis of rotation of earth . It is also called geographical south . It is situated on the continent of Antarctica .the Earth's axis of rotation is subject to very small polar motions, so this definition is not adequate for very precise work. At the South Pole, all directions face north.
.The ice on the south pole is increasing by the rate of 10 m per year
_____________________________________________________________
The measurements of south and north pole are not precise before 20th century all believe that the poles are static and at fixed place which is wrong because they are poorly tend to change their place in a period of year which was latterly proved by Euler
