Depending upon the mode of development, endosperms can be of three types: nuclear, cellular and helobial. The diffferences between nuclear and cellular endosperms are tabulated below. Nuclear divisions are not followed by cell divisions. Each division of nuclei is immediately followed by cell divisions.
