Difference between nuclear and extranuclear inheritance

Nuclear inheritance is the one which comes from the genes present on chromosomes, whereas Cytoplasmic inheritance is when genes are inherited from the organelles in the cytoplasm (such as the mitochondria) of the cell and not the nucleus. There are not many genes that are inherited...
