nuclear fudion is the joining of 2 different light neucleus to give rise to a heavier neucleus releasing a large amount of energy .This process occours at temperatures of 10power7 Kelvin
nuclear fission is the process of splitting up of heavier nucleus into 2 or more lighter ones releasing a high amount of energy ( less than the energy released in nuclear fusion ). this process occurs at any place no special conditions are required
