Official records can be described as data that has been verified or certified in a research or in a study and includes the final results that contain established facts. On the other hand, surveys can be viewed as data collecting methods that are carried out to find out information on a particular aspect of life. The data in surveys are not processed and cannot be considered as official or established facts as in the official records.
