Difference between old songs and new songs malyalam

Everybody love old music which was very soft, simple, classical in rhythms etc. I listen both old & new and I like both.


In old times, majority of the songs were sad, unhappy with life, unhappy with society, love losers etc. Because most of the movies were about love. If there were ten songs in the movie, four songs were love songs and six songs were sad  like love losers songs. People liked those songs because there were many love losers at that time. it was like that those songs were telling their story. In old times, words of the songs were very important than music. Music was simple but the words were strong and meaningful.


Now the time and music both changed. New music is about fun, energetic, happy with life & society, no more love losers songs etc. New music gives happiness, to enjoy, to dance. The words are not strong & meaningful but the music is loud. 


It may be that new generations are not love losers, they want to enjoy the music, they want to dance with music, they want to fun with music, they don,t want to understand the words of the song. They don,t want to sit in a room to listen the music and become sad. 


I am just telling the difference between old music and new music. It may the reason that in old times, people were simple and poor. Now people are rich and they want to do fun with the music whether it is party, family get together etc.
