Nearly before year 1950, the transportation system was very slow. Poeple used different ways of transportation; some used bullock carts, donkeys, cows etc. It took a lot of time for transportation from one place to another. For example;if a person sitting in Jaipur wants to meet someone in Delhi, have to take a cart, with luggage, in older times it took nearly 3 days but if we talk about the present only 3 hours by car are required to reach there.
The modern transportation system is a huge and advanced system, as we compared from the above example. As about the recent times, in Corona virus, if any patient is found covid-positive he would've got proper health solution as ambulance would've come as early as possible; 100 years back when the bubonic plague spread there was no advanced transportation and people used to die without proper health solutions.
Nowadays, different kinds of transportation systems are established such as aeroplanes, trains, motorcycles, cars, etc. These systems made our work easier. These helped us to go from place to place in a short term of time. Concluding the paragraph, I would like to say that the modern transportation system is more successful that the older one by the above examples and reasons.
