Open Air Refrigeration System -
In this air is directly passed over the space to be cooled and allowed to circular through the cooler.
In this, moisture is carried away by the circulating air. This leads to formation of frost.
This does not need heat exchange.
Closed Air Refrigeration System -
In this the circulated air does not have direct contact on the space to be cooled.
In this, freezing of moisture and chocking the value is not an issue.
This need heat exchange.
