an organ is a specialized group of tissue that performs a particular function. there are lot of organs in the human body like heart, lungs and intestines. organs system are made up of lots of organs all working together. these system work to preform a particular function.

Group of similar cells together form tissue. And the tissues form organs and different organs together constitute the organ system.
In unicellular organisms, all the functions are performed by a single cell. Whereas in complex organism they are mostly multi cellular and various Functions are done by various kinds of cells.
In the human body, there are billions of cells that perform various functions in the body. Such an organisation of complex system is very effective for the better coordination of various cell activities in the organism.
