Diffusion:-
1.Diffusion is defined as the random movement of particles from a region of higher concentration to lower concentration area.
2.Diffusion mainly occurs within gas molecules, liquid molecules or in gaseous state. The movement of particles in any two gases which are separated by a membrane is very random and constant.
3.But once this membrane is removed then the two gases tend to mix with each other, this is the mechanism of diffusion.
4.For instance, when we use any perfume or air freshener than the molecules tend to spread in the environment carrying out the process of diffusion.
