Difference between oxide of magnesium and sulphur.

Where ad Sulphur can Form So2
As well as S03 i.e. Di oxide and tri oxide both

Magnesium oxide is a white solid mineral but Sulfur dioxide is the chemical compound Magnesium oxide is occurs naturally as percales .Sulfur dioxide produced by volcanoes. 
sulphur dioxide with the formula SO2 but MgO2.
