  • Resistors connected end to end
  • Shows maximium effective resistance
  • p. d. is different throught the circuit
  • Current is same throught the circuit

Parallel combination

  • Resistors connected simultenaously parallel to each other
  • Shows minimum wffective resistance
  • P. d is same throught the circuit
  • Current passing through each resistor is different

Answer:

1) In parallel connection the restivity is low on the other hand in series the resistance of a wire is high.

2) all the appliances get equal magnitude of current while in series it is unequal.

3) If an electrical appliance get damaged due to some technical reasons then all the appliances get work properly whereas in series if one of the appliance get damaged then whole circuit will be damaged.
