Parasitic plants are totally dependent on other living organisms and can't survive without them over life cycle.e.g- Cuscuta .
Saprophytic plants are those plants, depends on nutrition from dead plants and animals ans decomposed material.
Both types are of heterotrophic nutrition as they do not synthesize own food.
