2):They store food,bears chloroplasts and contain larger cavities.

Collenchyma:

1):The cells of collenchyma are thick walled and compactly arranged.

2): They give mechanical strength in young tissue of stem.

Collenchyma: Collenchyma cells are found in petiole, leaves and young stems, appearing as a continuous ring beneath the epidermis.
