(i) Their movement from

caused by winter and

summer. They moved

annually between their

summer and winter

grazing grounds. In

winter, when the

high mountains were

covered with snow,

they lived with their

herds in the low hills.

The dry scrub forests

are used to feed their

herds. With the start

of summer, when

snow is melted on

the mountains, there

were abundant food

for their herds. By

the end of April they

used to move north for

their summer grazing

grounds.

They herd goat and

sheep as these animals

easily scale the

mountains.

animal product like

ghee in low hills. E.g.
