Permanent employees, work for an employer and are paid directly by that employer. Permanent employment means you work until you quit or they fire you with reason.

A seasonal worker is an employee who performs labor or services on a seasonal basis.
Seasonal employment just means that work in certain industries is only available for a limited time every year. In the case of election workers there is only work during campaign seasons. example:- farm work..
