Pesticides are used to kill the pests that can harm the crop. if they are used in excess they do not cause much damage to crops.

Fertilisers are used to provide fertility to the soil they are made from chemical and if they are used in excess they harm the crops..

Pesticides are used to remove pests from the main crop whereas fertilizers are used to increase the fertility of soil by adding nitrogen nutrients in it.
