Geo means earth and tropism means growth so growth with respect to earth is calledgeotropism. Roots have +vegeotropism whereas shoot has -vegeotropism. Similarlyphototropism refers to growth with respect to light mainly sunlight. ...Geotropism on the other hand is how plants grow in relation to the force of gravity.
